Turning her hobby into her occupation and her occupation into her passion – that’s what Gerlinde Huber achieved. Together with her Husband Manfred Huber, she manages a famous trade company for antiques, restauration and artistic vitrinifications – Antik & Glas Huber.

From beginnig of her childhood, Gerlinde Huber had a relation to carpentry. Her father was owner of a carpenter’s workshop. At age 17, she had already restored old furniture and even crafted the furniture of the Huber couple’s first apartment.

She completed the training of the carpenter's trade, which was atypical for women, with a journeyman’s certificate in 1981. Four years later – at age 21 - she was a master carpenter. In 1989 followed diploma as trade business manager. She started to continue her hobby – making and restoring furnitures - on a professional level. Since 1994, she has been active together with her husband in their own company.

Gerlinde Huber insisted in taking a second master’s examination in 1998, namely in the glazier’s profession. She succeeded as one of few. Since then she has devoted herself with much skilled talent and artistic feeling to the preparation of art glazings.

Manfred Huber has taken over the commercial part of the company. He is a trader and business manager. Consultation with the customers about the company’s wide spectrum of sevices also belongs to his field of activity, as well as his extensive knowledge of the most diverse styles and epochs.

Currently, we have more than 10 employees, including four glaziers and two carpenters/ restorers. They are all experts with extensive and relevant professional experience. The focus of our enterprise is therefore the range of antiques and glass technology. Our expert restoration work is acknowledged in our region and beyond.

Thus our company offers an all-around service for the customer, we furnish you completely, if you choose. On customer request, we take over the entire organization and completion of the whole interior arrangement.
